The Worlds 10th best Dressage Damline: Pari
A Dutch study has documented, that the Hostein damline 95 is the worlds 10th most successful in producing dressage horses.
In Denmark, the Holstein damline 95 is better known as the "Pari-line", named after one of the imported mares, the Holstein-dam Pari by Marder, who has had the most significant influence on the breeding of Danish sporthorses.
In 2009, the Dutch magazine "Sport Horse Breeding" published a ranking of the worlds best dressage damlines, where the Pari-line is listed as number 10 thansk to Danish bred horses such as Digby, Mastermind, Finale etc.
We are proud to say that all our broad mares (with the exeption of Twiggy Klosterdal DS) are descendants from the famous and highly influencial "Pari" Damline. Below we have described the story and some of the results in breeding and sport of this magnificent damline:
The foundation for the damline - the famous german DLG-winner "Pari RDH" - was imported from Holstein in 1966 by Mr. Åge Ravn. She was later taken over by Mr. H.B. Nielsen, Øxenholm.
Pari RDH was the dam of the graded stallion "Benelux DH 211" as well as 4 (R)DH-mares. Benelux DH 211 by Benevenuto xx and Pari RDH became the first Danish born graded DSA-stallion with a complete registration and paper-file and he was the origin of one of the most famous and wanted prizes of honour in Danish Warmblod: The Åge Ravn Trophy - which is today still awarded to the best 4-year-old Danish graded stallion every year. Pari RDH was a.o. awarded Silver-medal for offspring.

Pari RDH was also the dam of "Pari-fine DH" who was awarded Gold-medal for offspring.
Pari-fine DH was the dam of two elite-mares: "Øxenholm Parieuse EDH" (with Bronze-medal) and "Parisian EDH" awarded Silver-medal for offspring and 24 points (which is the highest possible) + the prize of honour at the Roskilde Fair in 1984 as well as Bronze-medal mare "Øxenholm Pleasure DH".

"Øxenholm Parieuse EDH" is the dam of a.o. Elitemare "Øxenholm Pamina ERDH". Øxenholm Pamina ERDH was at age 4 in 1986 presented as a gift to Her Royal Highness Princess Benedikte in connection with her new office as Protector for Danish Warmblood. 5 months later everyone was thrilled to see this beautiful mare win 2nd place at the performance test - only beaten by the later legendary national winner. Øxenholm Pamina ERDH is the dam of a.o. Silver-medal mare "Day-Dream SRDH" who was placed 3rd at the Young Horse Championships in 1997 with HH Princess Nathalie in the saddle, the graded stallion "Mastermind DH 499" who was selected for the champion ring at the stallion grading, as well as the graded stallion and A-level dressage horse "Digby DVH 744" who is extremely successful in international dressage competitions with his rider HH Princess Nathalie.

The peak of the Pari Damline's achievements in competitions is definitely the Team Bronze Medal that Nathalie and Digby contributed greatly to winning by being the best horse and rider on the Danish National Team. The two other teammembers were Anne van Olst riding Clearwater and Andreas Helgstrand riding Blue Hors Don Schufro.
