Elliot is being broken by Maria Holt and she is going to train him for the next couple of monhts. So far everything looks really promising - he is polite and extremely easy to handle and above all very very talented. We look forward to following his development and to see him at competitions sometime soon. !

On 17th April Partout had a fantastic filly by Alligator Fontaine. She is almost entirely black, and could end up as a grey.

On 3rd March Papilon gave birth - on month too early. The foal was put down in the afternoon as it was very weak and unable to get on its feet alone.

On 13-14 February 2010 our Palominostallion "Stærebogårds Apollo EPAH 7" will be participating in the largest stallion Expo in the British Isles.
You will find over 100 stallions from the UK, Ireland and Europe, including young talents, performers and confirmed sires all under one roof. Additionally there will be over 30 trade stands, with exhibitors including AI centres, Embryo transfer centres, Stud farms, Stallion owners and agents, Studbooks and Nutrition companies.
Our wonderful young stallion by B.H. Rush Hour, "Stærebogårds Runaway" has sadly died due to sickness. This was ofcourse very hard for us, but fortunately we still have his amazing half-sister "Stærebogårds Paloma" who seems to be even better than her big brother.

In the end of November our beautiful Gagarin-mare "Stærebogårds Torina" moved to Hanne and Tony in Roskilde. We are looking very much forward to seeing what Hanne can achieve together with this lovely young lady.

Currently we have four young stailions in our lose-housing facilities together with our 3-year-old Esteban-son "Stærebogårds Elliot", who has been 'hired' to keep an eye with the youngsters :-) - a job he carries out to our full satisfaction. Amongst the stallions we still have "Stærebogårds Ajour", who will be staying with us until next summer, where he will begin his training.
We still have room for 1-2 young gentlemen - please contact Tommy, if you are interested.

Our beautiful and charming "Stærebogårds Penelope" has been sold to Jeanette Strands in Albertslund, Denmark. We hope they will have a lot of fun in the years to come, and we are looking forward to following their achievements. Here at Stærebogård, Penelope was known for being somewhat of a supermodel - no other horse could hear the camera click from miles away, and then come running to start posing in front of it. We will miss our wonderful Penelope!

On 30th July we made the hard decision to put down our fantastic broadmare Parfait ERDH - we thank her for the many joys and happy hours that she has given us, and we look forward to continuing our breeding with the support of her many fantastic daughters.

Our thoroughbred Red Prospect XX by Diamond Prospect XX / Rheingold XX had a lovely palomino filly by Stærebogårds Apollo EPAH - and she has of course been bred by Apollo again.

Stærebogårds Papillon RDH had a stunning filly by Blue Hors Rush Hour - we've called her "Stærebogårds Paloma", and we think she's one of the mose beautyfol foals we've ever seen!

Stærebogårds Papilon RDH/ Alligator Fontaine has been sold to Caroline Regitze Jensen, Sorø (www.caroeventing.mono.net ). Ajour stays on Stærebogård until his 2½ years old, where he will be shown at the preliminary stallion gradings in Danish Warmblod. After than he will take up his career as Caroline's future companion in showjumping and hopefully international eventing competitions.

Red Prospect XX e. Diamond Prospect XX / Rheingold XX has been bred by Stærebogårds Apollo EPAH - and we are of course hoping for a fantastic palomino offspring!
Stærebogårds Lorenzo has been sold to Line EJstrup, Sorø as her future dressage horse. Lorenzo is currently in training with Morten Thomsen for a few months.

Stærebogårds Toscana RDH, who is for sale, has pased her saddle grading - she was excellently prepared for the competition and grading by John Hvalsøe-Saul. The jury described her as a "noble and leggy mare with good proportions".

Stærebogårds Penelope RDS has passed her saddlegrading - she was excellently prepared for the competition and grading by John Hvalsøe-Saul.
Stærebogårds Ajour was awarded 1st price at the foal's show - he obtained a.o. grade 8 for type and overall impression. He was ofcourse extremely well-behaved the whole day, and he appeared to enjoy being the center of attention for a whole day!

On 26 June Parfait ERDH gave us another lively and extremely goodlooking foal in the stable!
FINALLY! On 13 June Stærebogårds Partout RDH had a fantastic filly by Esteban xx - if possible she's even more beautyful than her big brothers and we are looking forward to welcoming her amongst our broadmares in 3 years time!
On Saturday 15 March Stærebogårds Papillon gave birth 14 days early, which meant that we were away for the National Stallion Show when we received a picture on MMS with our new colt. We were ofcourse very surprised but luckily everything went well and both mare and foal is doing really fine! On this photo he is 1 week old.

"Stærebogårds Tara" by De Noir DVH 812 / Twiggy Klosterdal DS (born 2007) has been sold to Stald Hedemarken, Anette and Bjarne Sørensen, Ørbæk (Denmark).

"Stærebogårds Apollo EPAH 7" has competed in at a large dressage competition in Hickstead, Great Britain, where he was placed 9th out of 30 in the Prix Sct. Georg against a very strong field of competitors counting several British national team members. The results of the placed horses were very close with a mere 2% between 2nd and 9th place.
